It all started when I was asked to put a slideshow together for a close friend’s mother. It was her 80th birthday and they wanted it to be special. I agreed and when it was played for all to see I was overcome with fear, nervousness, pride, and excitement. This sounds strange I know, but to do your absolute best on something and then have it displayed for all to critique is not an easy thing to do.
As the show progressed and the sounds from the audience switched rapidly from laughter, to sobbing, and the expressions moved from smiles to tears just as quickly, I took great pleasure in the fact that what I had created could touch so many. Laughter then sobbing, laughter then sobbing, smiles then tears, smiles then tears, I had accomplished taking this group on an emotional roller coaster none of them would soon forget. I remember questioning if they even liked the production as it was extremely hard to tell since the emotions in the room were changing as quickly as thoughts could enter my mind. As the show came to a close and the over head lights quickly illuminated the room any doubts I had quickly vanished as one after the other the audience rose to there feet clapping.
The feeling that I felt at that precise moment has been my motivation to continue helping people "Preserve there memories of today, for generations of tomorrow!"
Through the support of my Beautiful wife Dana, I have grown Big John Studio into what it is today. The Launch of this website is the direct result of her support and customer referrals, both of which have contributed to the foundation of my success. I would like to thank everyone that has come to me over the years, so that I could help them transition from boring photo albums to the emotional roller coaster that is provided by my slideshow productions.
